We are thrilled to announce that Gabriela Pavan, our Partner and Director of Experience and Retail Design, has been invited by POPAI to be a judge for the Stand Apas Show award.
Gabriela is a specialist in Retail Design and Visual Merchandising from IED-SP and IED Barcelona (Spain), as well as being VP for the central-west region of POPAI Brazil.
After developing commercial and corporate projects for various brands and winning awards from POPAI Brasil, she accepted the challenge of being on the judging panel at the largest food and beverage trade fair in the Americas for supermarket innovation and equipment in the world. Along with other experts in the field, Gabriela was responsible for judging stands from nationally and internationally renowned brands.
About the award
The Stand Apas Show By POPAI award is an initiative of APAS (Associação Paulista de Supermercados) with the organization of POPAI Brasil. This year the award received a record number of entries. There were 98 stands entered and 25 judges divided into 4 routes.
Exhibiting brands could choose from as many categories as they wished to participate in: best stand concept, best promotional activity, best visual communication (digital and printed), best visual merchandising, best sustainable stand and best international stand.
The aim of the award is to encourage and recognize the efforts involved in the solutions planned and executed on the stands at the fair.
Yesterday (15) the judges visited the stands to carry out the judging. The results will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 17/05.
As an evaluator on the jury panel, Gabriela commented on her perception of the awards:
It's a super incentive for brands to reinvent themselves, to be attractive to the public and to the fair, as well as the visibility they receive.
