Retail Design creates unique retail experiences

These days, not everyone needs to go to a store. In some places, hardly anyone does. Our current context has brought us decades forward in just a few months and the digital consumption revolution ended up happening in 2020 and is now being perfected in 2021. For brands that have physical sales spaces, these places have become even more strategic. Today's shoppers go there for two reasons: because they didn't want to or couldn't buy online, or because they wanted to have a face-to-face experience.

That's why the Retail Design area has grown so much within Architecture and here at Enredo. The team of architects and designers responsible for all the physical and sensory aspects of a commercial space has grown considerably in the last year.

In Retail Design, there are countless solutions, all designed with the customer's experience in mind, in all five senses: from choosing a wall to apply visual communication to choosing the essence to be applied to the space, lighting and signage.

What is Retail Design?

As you've seen, Retail Design is precisely an area of Architecture that creates creative solutions for the retail experience. Its literal translation is Retail Design, but these solutions are linked to physical space. It is therefore a very promising area of architecture, more specifically in commercial projects.

Because it's relatively new, it's still a little explored area in Brazil, which opens up a huge competitive advantage for brands that bet on this type of solution.

Here at Enredo, we have an entire area dedicated to Retail Design and Architecture with architects who are experts in the field. We have nationally awarded Retail projects and we even compete for international awards!

How we do it: learn about the Vizy case

Here at Enredo, one of the most recent cases is Vizy, a stand-alone mini-market in Goiânia-GO. It got its name because it was designed to be a closer, more intimate market with essential items: a neighbor.

Each market was designed to unfold into self-service containers, providing flexibility and ease of installation. The first store was opened in a gated community in the city and served as a model store.

Thus, the Retail Design team designed the entire environment to be a union between the digital and the analog already familiar in markets. On the façade, to make the space more inviting and friendly, careful work was done to transform the environment into something very cordial.

Inside the container, a series of communications have been developed that speak directly to the customer, acting as a guide to the purchase.

Which companies can have Retail Design projects?

Every company that values the customer experience strategically and has physical touchpoints can benefit from Retail Design projects.

From small to large companies, what matters is that you want to impact your customers and generate experiences with your brand. It is possible to find a creative retail design solution for a brand regardless of its size.
